Works great

I gave this as a gift to my daughter with the thought that she just might be pursuaded to use it on our dogs. She did and it worked great. The dogs are always nervous when cutting their hair between their eyes and on their chin, but both did really well.

The Conair is an amazing little clipper that won't disappoint you. I was surprised by its small size when I first opened the package and then I noticed the electric cord and how sturdy it was and from there I knew it was going to be a first rate product. I chose Conair because I already own a Conair battery operated grooming kit and how well it has stood up (about 5 years old now) to my personal grooming needs and that of my two dogs. Yes, I did share it with my dogs but not anymore! I have two Maltese dogs and I quickly gave the Conair a try to see how well it performed. I zipped off the under belly growth on both dogs with no trouble at all and it was very easy to maneuver due to it's small size and soft under grip which is a pleasure to use. The clipper also had another surprise in the package; it came with a backup blade that takes seconds to replace because the head pops off with the push of your thumb. Just grip the clipper with your hand and have your thumb resting on the silver side near the blade and give it a gentle push and be ready to catch the blade with your free hand. The clipper also came with oil, a brush, plastic blade attachments and blade protectors when not in use. Generally when thinking of Pet clippers you don't think of Conair but they're in the opinion of this reviewer becoming a highly rated contender in the clipper business. I plan use this clipper on the dog's under belly growth, around the eyes and muzzle, and perhaps the ears.
Does the job

The clipper comes with a variety of attachments to do probably more than you wanted. It is simple and easy to use. Perhaps the only thing is the need to oil the blades - too much applied and all the hair sticks to the blades but it is easily wiped off.
Mini groomer with large grooming capabilities

I wanted a mini groomer to take care of fine cutting details on my dog's face. Unfortunately, though the body is smaller, the guards and blades are those of a large groomer making the whole thing pointless.
