Suncast Crate

| Good product for the price. It wasn't too hard to assemble I was able to put it together by myself in about 20 minutes. Though I highly recommend that you put all the tan latches on the walls and roof before assebling them, it makes the process much easier. This crate has worked great for my red heeler puppy. She's never gotten out but if your dog is properly crate trained then they will not try and escape. You should never just put your dog in a crate, close the door, and then leave. If you are willing to spend the one afternoon that it will take to properly crate train your dog, then I think this will be a great crate choice for you. |
Easy to Assemble - Nice Carrier

| This product was pretty easy to assemble - the doors were a little difficult to get in place, but I had it together in less than 10 minutes with no tools. The only problem I have with this carrier is that it takes two hands to close and lock - the pins for the doors don't line up and you have to hand-guide them into the correct location to lock them in place. One of the two (top and bottom pins) generally hits the target on first attempt the other has to be guided into place. Otherwise it is well worth the money - looks good and easy to clean. |
Worth the price!

| I got the pet carrier on sale, and also had free shipping. It's perfect for crate training my new dog. Don't know how people had difficulty putting it together. I wouldn't use it solely as a pet 'carrier' - it's not incredibly sturdy, but for home use, it's excellent! |
DO NOT PURCHASE FOR AIRLINE TRAVEL!!!!!
|

| I just returned from the airport, where I had to purchase ANOTHER dog crate because this one was NOT ok to fly- at least on United. It does not have screws to hold it together ( it has plastic latches) and it does not have girders on the outside sides to ensure airflow even if something is resting directly up against it. The airline was going to let the screw parts slide if we could secure the latches with zip-ties (which is doable) but the airflow was an insurmountable problem. The crate is fine for home use but DO NOT BUY for airline travel. You are wasting your time and money. I just left mine at the trash at the airport because I now have no use for it. Junk. |
Falls apart not safe on Airline

I used this kennel, when I flew to Anchorage. I was able to hold the kennel together enough for me to get home.
This kennel is totally unsafe for you animal to travel in on the plane. |
