| A K&H exclusive, the Lectro-Kennel Igloo-Style Heated Pad is the perfect add-on for every Dogloo or Indigo house. The half-round shape covers half the floor surface allowing pets to naturally choose when they want warmth. It comes in three sizes, and is easy to clean and waterproof. It uses an internal thermostat to keep the temperature at a desirable 102 when the pet lies upon the pad. The unit is constructed of a rugged ABS plastic and a steel wrapped cord to ensure your pet's safety. |

| My dogs only live outside during the day and they are pretty much couch potatoes in the house the rest of the time. However, once in a blue moon, my husband and I go away for 1 night and the dogs get to "camp out". Since we live in Utah, and it does get cold here, I bought heated pads to put in their dog houses. They weren't quite sure how to deal with them and I had to take the fleece cover off because Bosco thought it was something to play with! Since the weather has dipped into negative numbers, the dogs have been delighted to have the warmers in their dog houses. They may seem pricey, but for my peace of mind (and for the dogs' overall warmth!) it was money well spent! |

| I used this in my dog's very large crate. He could move off of it if he needed to because it is only a partial. I liked that it was not going to get too hot--but when I felt it--it was nice and warm--much better than blankets over a concrete floor of the garage! Excellent product! I will probably buy a second one for his igloo outside--next year! We let him sleep inside when it gets really cold at night--but during the day he has to go out due to the fact that we both work--this made the winter bareable for all of us! |

| This item seems to work well in keeping my dogs warm. The only problem we had was fitting it into the Igloo with the cord coming out the back of the Igloo. We have a puppy that chews, so we had to make a hole in the dog house. It would be nice if dog houses thought ahead and put a small hole for a cord to fit through. |

| I bought this product because we were going out of town and leaving our dogs with a housesitter who would not be able to let them inside as much as they are used to. What a lifesaver it has been! Thanks to the comments of other reviewers, I decided to put a cut-to-size circle of carpet on the floor of the igloo before putting the Lectro-kennel in. The carpet is enough to hold the unit in place and gives my dogs the choice of all-warm, half-warm, soft, and hard. Like a previous reviewer, I do wish the surface was something other than hard plastic. But that might just be me - my dogs LOVE it! They never liked the dog house before and now they run in there all the time. It feels warm and toasty when I stick my hand inside. I bought the K&H fleece cover to go with it (see my review K&H Pet Products 11-1/2-Inch by 18-Inch Small Dog Bed Pad Cover Igloo Style but my dogs won't leave it in the doghouse. So they are loving the Lectro-Kennel even without a fleece cover. |
